Finding your way through the physical therapy field can be daunting, especially when you are a new grad or taking on your first clinical. I made this course to assist with a smoother transition to in-clinic work. If you are looking for structure with your patients, try this course.
For patients with an inversion sprain, this course will go through how to complete a subjective history, how to complete an effective objective assessment, determining a plan of care, and progression through a patient's session to achieve their goals. This will also include resources to assist you with review of basic objective measures, ways to help streamline this assessment, and tips and tricks to help the patient succeed.
Multiple videos are included that demonstrate exercise progression (description of how to modified/increase difficulty given the patient's needs), additional testing to determine current level of function, demonstration of taking a subjective history, and demonstration of objective measures.
This course takes you from initial consultation to discharge with ideas to assist with non-compliance, reoccurring pain levels, continued swelling, agility challenges, proprioception inefficiencies, strength deficits, manual therapy options, gait assessment, determining functional activities and how to get your patient back to them sooner, sport related activities, running progression, and more.
