Study a secret Daoist routine that can improve your body and strengthen your mind with Daoist kungfu master Hao Zi Xia from from Wudang mountains.

Tai Yi Swimming Dragon Form is a special routine designed to strengthen control of the body, exercise the Qi, and develop the mind. This practice is believed to be inherited by Daoists from shamans of the mystical Xia dynasty. Most of this development occurred on Wudang Mountain during the Song Dynasty (~960-1279), reaching more or less its present form in the Qīng Dynasty (1644-1911). It was a secret method of health preservation of the Emperor's family and it wasn't accessible outside of the palace until recently. Tai Yi Swimming Dragon Form has only been widely taught within the last thirty years.

The routine is a great exercise for your spine. Our spine is designed to turn, to twist, and to bend, all these movements are included in the form. It also activates all the joints of our body, strengthens muscles, and stretch fascia tissues.

Learning the name of every exercise will help you understand the right biomechanics of the movement. After a while, you will find that besides raising your general level of health, your cognitive functions will also have improved. Regular practice reduces the level of anxiety and stress. Master Hao instructs the form from all angles, explaining every movement thoroughly. The course has been recorded in Yuan He Guan – an ancient Daoist temple in Wudang mountains.

The first part of Tai Yi Swimming Dragon Form consists of 20 exercises. It's suitable for all levels and is recommended to be practiced from one up to three months before moving on to the part 2.
