Conducting effective technical interviews with confidence is a skill you will use again and again throughout your career. You’re about to learn methods and formulas to set you up for success as the interviewer.

Having facilitated hundreds of technical interviews in a variety of companies, it is clear to me that interviewers like you have a huge impact on the quality of the interview and ultimately, the outcomes.

Your confidence, leadership capabilities, communication flow, and feedback are all active factors in the interview, and my goal is for you to feel prepared, confident, and always ready to jump in on a technical interview.

After just four lessons, you will be fully equipped and prepared to master technical interviewing in just about any tech stack and company. The style and philosophy of this course are Agile, so you can learn and apply the lessons in any order.

  • In Lesson 1 we’ll discuss the essentials of how to prepare as the interviewer. These preparation steps make all the difference in your confidence and performance in live interviews.

  • Lesson 2 is where we take a deep dive on formulating and selecting good technical & behavioral questions based on a few key variables, along with 4 prime styles of technical interview questions

  • Assessing Candidates and providing feedback are covered in Lesson 3, which includes how to strategically write your feedback to avoid conflict or HR issues now and in the future.

  • Lesson 4 is all about What to Say throughout the interview so you remain composed, effective, and confident, even when faced with the unexpected.
