Description

Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit my page. This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the trucking industry, this is a basic overview of the truth in trucking, this course will give you a real look at what happens after truck driving schools, OTR jobs, being a trainee, transition into a solo driver and other options later such as Trainer, owner operator, lease purchase operator and a range of work available such as OTR , reginal, dedicated, short haul, local, agricultural, and more. This course will also touch a little on some practice test for your CDL, and a basic look at the pre-trip walk around and behind the wheel test.

This course may  not be for everyone but it is a good introduction for those who are interested in the trucking industry and for those who may just be starting their truck driving school. This course is entry level and no prior experience is needed, however there will be minimum requirements from the California DMV and the Federal Government  FMCSA. These are just some, age 18 is required to drive a commercial vehicle intrastate ( one state ) and 21 years old to drive Interstate ( multi state ) also 21 years old to haul Haz-Mat.  You must also pass a DOT Physical and be in good enough health to pass your exam.
