This course is designed to help parents and guardians of children with autism understand the disorder and the associated disorders, as well as the therapies and support available. The course will cover the basics of autism, including what it is, the different types of autism, and the common symptoms. We will also discuss the various therapies available to help children with autism, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). We will also discuss how to apply for disability benefits and how to access support from the community.
The course will also cover the importance of early intervention and how to recognize the signs of autism in children. We will discuss the importance of creating a supportive environment for children with autism and how to provide them with the best possible care.
