Description

Are you an executive looking to close the gender gap in your organisation? Maybe you're a team leader looking to better attract and retain the best in female talent, or a diversity advocate seeking to strengthen your knowledge on women at work. If so, you've come to the right course.

In this course, we explore women at work across industries. Beginning with an early history of women in the workplace we'll look at how society has evolved to support women at work, and the industries most dominated by women and why. Then, we'll look at the industries that are still lacking in female representation including STEM, Medicine, Policing, Law and Government and how experts believe we can close this gap. We'll look at women in the workforce across industry echelons and why the gap persists for women after the pandemic and the double burden of women of colour. Then, we'll explore the real benefits of women at leadership levels- including how women increase EBIT, augment revenue and guide stronger teams. We'll look at how women at leadership can help customer satisfaction, improve employee wellness, and most importantly, make real changes in innovation to ensure the safety of women in health and safety. We'll explore the challenges women still face in the workplace, from harassment to maternity care, IVF to day-to-day women's health and provide real life examples of how you can make your workplace better for women at work.

In this course, you'll get downloadable resources to give you a rounded view of women in the workplace, immersive activities to find real solutions and workbooks to help you identify problems that women might face in your own workplace. Join Katie Doyle, founder of Mentor Her, and Mentorship and Women at Work advocate as we guide you and your organisation in being a better place for the current and next generation of women leading your teams.
