Description

I know that we have all heard that we need to target our resume and cover letter to the job that we are applying to. Well, this is one of the main reasons why the job search process is so stressful for many job seekers. They feel like they have to re-write their resume and cover letter for each individual job that they apply to. This notion could not be further from the truth.

If you want to learn how to bypass all of that stress, then this module is for you.  It will show you how to dissect the vacancy announcement or job description for your target position. You will then learn how to identify the most impactful duty statements that the recruiter and/or hiring manager will compare your experience to. This lesson will teach you how to use the results of your analysis as the starting point for tailoring your resume and cover letter to your target position. You will also learn simple, low-stress  strategies to tailor your resume and cover letter to your target position without re-writing the entire document. I will show you how to write them in a way that makes it easy to make just a few tweaks to make your candidate profile a targeted representation of your professional attributes.
