Vedic Mathematics is an ancient system of Mathematical Calculation which has 16 sutras and 13 sub sutras to solve the problems quickly and easily without errors. It was found by Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji between 1911 to 1918. Vedic Maths also removes the phobia of Mathematics. The strategies can successfully be applied during any competitive exams.
Some of the Sutras of Vedic Mathematics are
1. Ekadhikena Purvena- One more than one before
2. Ekanyunena- One less
3. Nikilam Navatascaramam Dasatah- All From 9 Last From 10
4. Urdhva Tiryagbhyam- Vertically and Crosswise
5. Paravartra Youjayet- Transpose and Apply
Like this there are many 16 Sutras available. The Sutras are known as the formulae.
Apart from the 16 Sutras, there are also Sub-Sutras available which are 13 in number. The Sub-sutras are called the sub-formulae.
Using the Vedic Maths, students can improve their speed and accuracy while solving problems. Even the most complex problems can be solved using the Vedic Maths techniques in fewer steps. These calculations can be done with confidence and concentration and also error free results are obtained using the calculations.
