Everything single thing that is taught in this course is specially curated to take into account the needs of women on the family planning path. Special precautions and considerations need to be taken to protect the midsection that is hyper sensitive due to fertility medication. In addition, a nervous system that is overloaded with constant worry is not balanced hormonally. Many women live in a fight/flight state for years, never taking a break or time to care for themselves. It takes an intentional practice to loosen up tension and teach the body and womb to relax and restore calm.
The best thing women can do on their path to parenthood, is find a practice that sustains, and carries them through the ups and downs of this windy path. Many of us hoped that our baby story would be short and sweet, only to discover that many times it can take a lot of patience to reach motherhood. And that's ok, we just need the tools to sustain and replenish us while we wait!
Yoga is uniquely qualified and effective during this time to relieve stress and build back confidence in SELF. This course is a sweet and gentle practice with lots of positive affirmations and self-soothing tools that you can use on your own journey. In these videos there are calming breathing exercises to balance the nervous system and Mudras (sacred hand posture) to boost weary spirits.
