Description

The 120-Hour Educational Activities Designing Course is a comprehensive and hands-on training course designed to help educators and material writers create and deliver inspiring and powerful learning activities for different lesson stages and purposes. The course is suitable for pre-service and in-service teachers, academic staff, and anyone involved in designing educational activities, and it consists of the following units:


Unit 1: Warm-up Activities

In this unit, participants will delve into the art of engaging warm-up activities designed to set a positive tone for lessons. Explore a variety of creative and effective techniques to energize students, foster a conducive learning environment, and optimize the transition into the main lesson content.


Unit 2: Lesson Closures

Discover the significance of effective lesson closures and their impact on reinforcing key concepts. This unit will guide participants through diverse strategies to conclude lessons meaningfully, ensuring that students leave with a clear understanding of the day's objectives and a sense of accomplishment.


Unit 3: Individual Work Activities

During the course, we'll be talking about the different aspects of educational activity design including:

i. The process of activity design from A to Z so that you can create and develop your own activities

ii. Seeing activities in action through watching demo videos

iii. Planning and delivering various activities

iv. Evaluating your designed activities according to certain criteria

v. Reviewing and evaluating other participants' work, and giving them constructive feedback In addition, you'll be watching videos, listening to audio, reading texts, doing quizzes, preparing and implementing demo activities, and completing assignments on your own, in pairs, or in groups. You will also interact with the trainer and other participants by sharing ideas, and asking and answering questions.
