How this course came about
In 2015 I met a coffee shop owner. Let’s call him Ali.
Ali had just started his business and was struggling. His problem was that round one corner was a coffee shop which had the best coffee making machine that money can buy. Around the other corner was a coffee shop that was in the Guinness Book of Records for making the most cups of coffee in the shortest amount of time. So, he couldn’t compete on quality or speed.
Over a cup of coffee (of course) I asked Ali how many of his customers he knew by name? He thought for a moment and said, “Maybe half.”
“What about your team?” I quizzed.
“Maybe one third.”
“And what about their orders? Are you able to recall their regular orders?”
“Some.”
I said, “Ali, how do you think your customers would feel if you, and your team, always greeted them by name, and asked them if they want their usual order?”
“That would be awesome,” said Ali beaming.
Over the next few weeks, we trained Ali and his team to be able to recall customer names, and orders. The result – his business grew.
That was the start. We then trained a small group of business owners, and then put on a conference for 200 people. Over the past 6 years we have trained more than 37,000 people worldwide in how to improve their memory. Some like Ali wanted to use the techniques to improve their business. Others do it for fun, or to combat the digital dementia we all suffer from by spending so much time glued to our screens!
We hope you enjoy the course, learn something valuable, and tell your friends. Join more than 37,000 thousand students who have taken our memory courses since 2017 and reaped the benefits.
Sincerely,
Bill
