Description

This Government Contracts Review & Negotiation Course ("Course") was designed to every one from across the World like to know about contracts management.  In this Course, relied on World Bank Design and Build Model Contract ("Contract").  This Contract relies on FIDIC Yellow Book.  Accordingly, the importance, demand and the Course Curriculum and the important speed reading techniques in Lecture - 4  (Helps to review huge volume books in less time and as well more effectively) were explained in Section  1 of this Course.

The Section 2 of this Course explains how to review the Contract by following the structure of the Contract (Cause Title, Preamble, General, Operation & Boiled Plate Clauses) according to the World Bank Contract & FIDIC Yellow Book.  These lectures will be certainly helpful to review any contract through this structure and also through the speed reading techniques.

This Course guides how to identify & mitigate the risks through contracts terms and conditions were explained in Section 3 - Contracts Risk Management.

As Negotiation plays a vital role before concluding the Contract, Section - 4 - Contract Negotiation guides from the start point till the award of the contract negotiation process.

To make contracts profitable, implementing the 3 stages in the Contract was explained in detailed in the last Section - 5 in Lecture 14 - Contracts Life Cycle Management and in Lecture - 15 - Conclusion.

In Conclusion lecture, the learnings on effective review of a contract through contract structure and through speed reading techniques, risk identification, risk mitigation, negotiation, contracts life cycle management were demonstrated.
