The 'Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional Examination' (IGBC AP) offered by IGBC is a credential for professionals (with at least 2 years of work experience) to participate in green building projects. It is designed to test the knowledge of a candidate on green building design and construction. (Excerpt from IGBC website)
Successful completion of the IGBC AP Certification means you possess good knowledge about green practices and best procedures to follow during and post-construction in Indian context.
An IGBC AP can add high value to the design process through strategic and rational design decisions with regards to sustainable practices.
The test consists of 2 Full Length Mock Tests comprising of 110 Questions each. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
The test questions cover the following sections,
1: Green Building Design & Construction
2: Building Standards & Codes
3: IGBC Resources and Processes
4: Green Design Strategies & Impacts
The IGBC AP Test exam covers these topics under separate sections, but they have been combined and condensed in the two mock tests.
