SAP2000 is a very important program for civil engineers. It used in analysis of structures to get the internal forces as a main step to design it. In the current course we will illustrate how to be a good user from zero level to be a professional user. we will talk about the different options of modelling how to draw frame element, how to draw shell element, how to edit on the model, how to replicate existing elements, defining of sections (frame or shell ), load cases and load combinations, difference between load case and load combinations, assigning of sections (frame or shell ), loads by different types (concentrated loads, distributed loads for all elements, point loads or frame loads or shell loads), running of the model, displaying of internal forces (axial force and shearing force and bending moments) and deformations. Also case study of concrete floor will be included in the course, including making of DXF drawing (on the Architecture plan) file using AUTOCAD program and importing it to SAP2000 program, defining of sections(frame or shell), load cases and load combinations, assigning of sections(frame or shell ), applying of loads on both frame element and shell element and displaying the internal forces and deformations.
