Description

This is an introductory course that will provide the learner with a basic understanding on how to develop and execute a NFPA 241 Fire Prevention Program. This course was developed by a Construction Manager who has been working in the Design and Construction Industries for over 30 years. His personal experiences helped developed this course and it will demonstrate how to effectively execute a NFPA 241 Fire Prevention Program on a construction projects.

The course is divided into several sections which include Introduction to NFPA 241, History of NFPA 241, General Requirements, Additional Requirements, and Important Programs. This course will provide you will a comprehensive understanding of NFPA 241, the Owner’s responsibilities, the Contractor’s responsibilities, what a Master Fire Prevention Program is, what a Project-Specific Fire Prevention Plan is, How to create Pre-Incident Plans, How to create a Hot Work Program, How to create an Impairment Work Program, and How to create a Inspection Program. At the end, there are some Quiz Questions so you can test their own knowledge. This quiz is not graded and is not required to be passed.
