Description

504 Practice exams (350 with explanations), that cover the needed outcomes to pass and have a holistic HRM knowledge. The SHRM-CP exams are based on the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK), the product of a careful analysis of the HR profession. It describes the core set of behavioral competencies, functions, principles and definitions required of all HR professionals, and it is available for free.

The SHRM Learning System is a comprehensive, interactive study aid that helps you develop HR knowledge and competencies and apply them to real-life situations. Designed for adult learners, its content is presented in bite-sized pieces for studying anytime, anywhere. Practice exams give you greater exposure to the types of items you'll see on the real-life exams, plus feedback about correct and incorrect responses.

What can you expect on the SHRM-CP exam?

The SHRM-CP exam tests your “knowledge of factual information,” judgment, and decision-making skills through a series of multiple-choice questions. The exam is based on the 15 HR functional areas and the eight behavioral competencies, which are part of the SHRM Body of Competency & Knowledge (SHRMBoCK).

How to use the practice exams:

1. Read for understanding

2. Spot the keywords

3. Attempt the question

4. Eliminate the two wrong questions

5. review your answers and do research on why the incorrect answer was incorrect.

Who Should Attend!

  • n order to qualify for the SHRM-CP, there are some education and experience requirements you must meet. This chart on the SHRM website breaks it down clearly, but in general, you do not need to have a degree in HR nor do you need to have completed a degree to start the process of obtaining a SHRM-CP. However, if you have less relevant education, you’ll be required to show proof of equivalent work experience. All applicants have to show proof of at least 1,000 hours of HR-related work experience, or 500 hours if you’re a student, in one calendar year.
