Description

Do you want to write a great story for your life and turn ideas, dreams and desires into reality? With so much trying to grab our attention and with the general responsibilities of life, it's so easy to find yourself simply going through the motions.

You may be feeling stuck or you may have started something but are facing up to insurmountable challenges and barriers. You may be dealing with your own limiting beliefs, compromising your ability to maintain momentum and finish what you’ve started. Maybe you feel like you can’t even get to the start line. Or have you been unable to take the time to pause and carefully consider what your goals are and how you will work intentionally toward achieving them?

All of us are in The Middle of something.

The Middle Journey works through 7 short modules, which are each unpacked in a 6 - 7min video per module. These video's include a short story from someone who cycled around the world, followed by the accompanying insight learned and how it has been applied into everyday life. Following each video you will need to work through 5 questions on an interactive reflection sheet in PDF format.

Each insight is unique in nature but interconnected to the others, giving you the opportunity to create an 'eco system' which will support your ability to define your goals and achieve them, or simply live well in The Middle of what you are involved in right now.

This course was developed by Travis Gale who cycled 17,000km across four continents in 1999 to raise R1.7m for children affected by HIV / AIDS in South Africa. Whilst the start and the finish of the tour were both significant days, it was The Middle where the story was written. Upon return he reflected on the key insights and principles which he leveraged in order to navigate The Middle and reach the finish, consolidating them into what is now called The Middle Journey. Since his return, these insights have been applied into The Middle of 16 years of entrepreneurship, 12 years of marriage, 8 years of parenting, several 100 mile endurance trail runs and other life adventures.
