We will examine this, and I provide some tools for you to help in your own evaluation process. In fact, we will play out a hypothetical scenario.

How do elk use the terrain? What type of gear will I need? Are hunting elk just like hunting deer or turkeys? If not, how is it different? What about calling elk? 

We will answer these questions, and you will be put in a couple of your own scenarios to anticipate what it might be like when you are faced with decisions on the mountain when elk are bugling all around you.
