This course will help you to applies the study of science to your specific sport. The focus of this course is to help maximize performance and endurance in preparation for events and competitions while lessening the risk of injury.
You will learn about the main principals of sport as well as the technical side to writing training programs. This includes a comprehensive guide to the different aspects of all the seasons (pre-season, in-season and post-season). There is also a template that one can follow to write an extremely detailed exercise program that is flexible to fit any person and sport. The main idea behind this course is to allow athletes and coaches to have a scientific understanding behind training programs.
This course can be used to help identify strengths and weaknesses so that a training program can be individualized for everyone from athletes to the elderly, and everyone in-between.
