We have been blogging a lot on technology via our LinkedIn pages and we felt that we could convert some of those tutorials into hands-on labs that other engineers would benefit from. Each team member is interested in different aspects of cloud computing and comes up with their own scenarios they'd like to talk about.
Random labs is the avenue we've chosen to publish some of that content in video-on demand. We do not focus on once technology, platform or tool but simply explore topics on interests, be it challenges we encountered at work or a proposal from a student or other engineer. We also scout for challenges on the Internet, Slack Channels, Social Media and then try to replicate those scenarios into end-to-end labs.
Since these are just labs, we try not to focus a lot on explaining the concepts or theory. For the theory and conceptual parts, we publish in our monthly Newsletter on LinkedIn or our website. Please feel free to subscribe.
It is customary for instructors to regularly update tutorials on Udemy once new tech is released. For these random labs, we won't be following a similar approach; instead, we'd simply add on more content as develop new scenarios. There might be overlapping content but the idea is to eventually build a diverse portfolio of scenarios you can replicate in your own environment.
Finally, if you have a better way of implementing a scenario, please feel free to share with us and we'd work with you to create the tutorial and share the credits with you.
Thanks and best of luck in your studies.
