Basic Photography - introduces Image Awareness, the fundamentals of Light, Composition, Camera Equipment options, Camera Set-Ups (HandHeld, Tripods & Remote), Image Quality, Exposure (including Depth of Field), Shooting Modes, Camera Functions and Shooting Set-ups.

This First Course in the series - following a short introduction, comprises 10 main modules of around 3 minutes each, enabling students to start their photography with key basic knowledge.

Students will learn and understand how to take photographs with a suggested choice of equipment and situations.

Each module will comprise photographic examples and explanations of key approaches (setting up, positioning and lighting), to create learners' first portfolios.

This first Course in the Series (Basic Photography) is ideal for beginners of any age, or for those wanting to progress their interest in photography, and aimed at people wishing to gain and widen their photographic knowledge.

This Course is the starting block (and can be used for revision) towards further Advanced and Professional Courses in the Series.

'Basics' requires no equipment to start with, but will help you towards choosing your first or ideal camera system (camera body & lens).

This course does assume you already have access to a mobile phone and computer.

You will need to be reasonably mobile, with good eyesight, ideally from 0,00 to +3,0 diopters.

No previous experience is required.
