The GMAT is a computer-based test, and is offered year-round at test centers around the world.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a 3½-hour standardized exam designed to predict how test takers will perform academically in MBA (Masters in Business Administration) programs. GMAT scores are used by graduate business schools to make admission decisions.

The GMAT is administered only by computer now, except that in certain remote locations outside North America a paper-based version of the exam is available instead

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT is a computer adaptive test (CAT) intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA program. It requires knowledge of certain specific grammar and knowledge of certain specific algebra, geometry, and arithmetic. It can be taken up to five times a year but no more than eight times total. Attempts must be at least 16 days apart.
