Welcome to the very first skill share class of mine. The Beginners guide to Mandalas, Basic to Advance.
In the ancient Sanskrit language of Hinduism and Buddhism, mandala means “circle.” Traditionally, a mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. “In the process of drawing mandala artwork, you feel much calmer and more peaceful and your breathing and heartbeat slow down. The sensation in your mind and body and their connection, is very good,” Bonafini says.
A course specially curated for all the beginners. Covering all the different subjects like pattern formation, grids, mandala layouts and much more. You’ll be learning two mandalas from start to finish. Including the pattern sheets that has been provided in the resource section. Feel free to use them in your work. In this class you'll be learning mandalas from the core basic in easy step by step process.
No artistic qualification is required to pursue this class. Only a zeal to learn is required to learn this artform.
Material Required
Things required- 1. Sketchbook, paper and pads, 2. 5 mm grid notebook, 3. Fine liners or gel pen( black one), 4. Pencil, eraser, sharpener. 5. Compass that can hold pen. 6. Ruler 7. Protractor
