It might seem counterintuitive but bodyweight training is actually the shortcut, it is the more effective and efficient way to build strength and get fit. Zero time wasted getting to a gym, and the exercises work the body as it evolved to work; not by using individual muscles, or portions of a muscle, but as an integrated unit. This means developing joints, tendons and the nervous system as well as the muscles.

I have intentionally placed extra focus on the spine and back to counteract our sedentary modern lifestyle and byproducts like forward head posture.
