Well, a classic is a classic because it is modern. This new online course was crafted specifically to help anyone curious about Shakespeare find the relevance and immediacy in his language and provide the tools to make it possible! Whether you're a performer or simply passionate about Shakespeare, there are nuggets of wisdom in here for you.

Follow along with us to learn key tools for Performing Shakespeare from renowned actor and instructor Peter Francis James.

From 2000 to 2020, Peter was the resident acting teacher for Shakespeare at the Yale School of Drama. He is native of the south side of Chicago, a recipient of the Obie, Drama Desk, and Lortel awards for acting, and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.  His expertise and learning comes from his performances, studies in higher education, and multiple collaborations over the years with the co-founders of the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he played Oberon for Peter Hall and acted in workshops for John Barton in New York and Oxford.
