Included are 100 questions covering core knowledge: Phlebotomy core knowledge, Patient Preparation, Routine Blood Collections, Special Collections, Safety and Compliance and Processing Specimens. The preparatory exam is intended to help increase your odds in passing the state phlebotomy certification exam. Some areas covered in the exam include Anatomy & Physiology, Infection Control, Legal & Ethical Responsibilities and Specimen Collection and Testing.
